Pretending to be a person again for a while by sharing a thing I'm into: Lord of the Lost, which is kind of the gothic/symphonic metal band I thought would only ever exist in my imagination. Favourite album: Empyrean (spotify link). Favourite track: 'raining stars'. How can I not like a song that includes the line 'welcome, dear apocalypse'? Another reason why I like them is they actually don't look out of place performing with an orchestra. Gothic meets Klassic (that one's a youtube link) Also, I found a thing with Morean in it (and other guys from that that crowd): Apophenia by Hannes Grossmann. Sort of like the less-weird bits of Alkaloid.

New Opeth Spotify link.It's... weird? Sort of like their previous album but they listened to creepy elevator music and maybe some 1970s prog rock while they were writing? I think I like it, but it's going to take a few listens to get into it.
