Creating this thread because nothing goes together so well as cookies and m-m-m- METAL. So when someone has an amusing link that will only appeal to a very narrow range of fans (i.e. metalheads), one of two things happen. 1) It gets posted on the metal musical thread, where it really shouldn't be because it's off-topic, it clutters up the musical posts, and tends to get buried. 2) A separate thread gets created, which is active for all of two or three posts...which is fine if it's generally amusing or if it's a general thread for an entire fandom meant to grow slowly but steadily, but not fine if it's really a one-hit wonder post, so to speak, and directed at only a few people. So here's where we'll post amusing things related to metal but which are not musical in nature. Question: Where do I put musical metal humor? Answer: You'd be okay putting it on the 'What Are You Listening To?' metal thread. If you can listen to it and it's metal, it goes there. That said, it can go here too, depending on whatever context you're posting in. Question: What about chatter? Answer: Yes, chatter is fine in this thread because this is the Random board, but if it spawns another entire topic, please take it to another existing chatter thread or create a new one if it's really huge.
I found some things in the past week. Richard Simmons in corpse paint. I think my brain just broke. Holy crap, it really is a DIMMU BURGER.Trve Kvlt ChickenThe most metal lamb. It's a lamb that looks like Abbath (it's BaaAaAaAAaaaAbbath!) and named after Batman. Only in Norway. An Animated History of Corpse Paint - I think I've linked to this before (on PlotMo? IDK), but linking again because that ending!

Though I can't help but agree a little about Burzum. I heard one of his albums before I heard the rest of it...but after knowing that, I couldn't listen to the music. :-P
...Abbath's axe looks like a butterfly. A black metal butterfly.

That is...oddly disturbing. The Hammerfall one is bad@$$ though, and the Avantasia one is really cool. (The Wicked Symphony is an AMAZING album!)

This sort of thing should be normal men's winter fashion. Even that leopard-print scarf Tobias is wearing. Bonus points for adding a hat, and double if they can carry off the hat while still looking metal. Also... are this coat (Tobias Sammet, first hyperlink in previous post) and this coat (Roy Khan) made from the same fabric? Looking closer, maybe not... but definitely from the same designer.

Men's fashion? *I* would wear this stuff, if only it was cut out for my shape. :-D Though I wouldn't mind if this WAS mandatory men's fashion. XD Tobias could wear almost anything and still look metal. Almost?Nah, not the same fabric, but definitely the same designer. Tobias's is purple velvetish, and Roy's is more of a...that thick cloth that cushions and curtains are made from. The word escapes me. Completely unrelated, from Wikipedia: *slow squeal* Words cannot express how much I would LOVE to hear Roy Khan sing that song.

Hah! That's the same thing I thought about Facebook when they posted the same thing there!
(Man, I hate Facebook so much. I'd avoid it entirely, except it seems to be the only way I can communicate with my brother these days...)
Tommy is so adorably stoked. XD

Before there were the coats, there was...the dress. Now I can't stop laughing.
