This is just an simple overview for those who are new to Steve, as well as a quick rundown of what's going on currently for everyone. This thread will be updated as new events come up -- we'll be adding to it once Week 2 activities kick in!

Discussion/Setup (Do These First):
- CampNoPlanMo Daily Status Reports - A quick status update to report how you're doing each day. Each week in June will have a different thread.
- General Hangout - Personal Progress Threads - This section will stick around for the entire year. Be sure to start up a PPT, and tell us about what you're working on, as well as what you'd like to accomplish! Your PPT is like your own daily journal, where you can basically ramble on about anything related to writing, plotting, editing, worldbuilding, etc. The PPTs are where we talk about our story developments and have discussions to bounce ideas off of each other, so feel free to comment/discuss on other threads!
- CampNoPlanMo Goals and Writing Chatter and General Hangout Goals/Plans/Writing Discussion - There are two goal boards. One is under CampNoPlanMo, which is for the month of June. The other is a board for the entire year. You can sign up for goals in one or the other (or both). What kind of goals? Well, for CampNoPlanMo, we're focusing on getting a novel planned and ready to write for CampNaNo in July, so your June mission (should you choose to accept it) would be a list of tasks you need to finish to get your story plotted out. (Don't have an idea yet? Try Daily Plot Bunnies! Stuck? Post on your PPT [or, for more involved things, Plot Doctoring] and we'll be happy to bounce ideas around with you!)
Challenges (Ongoing, Recurring, Extra):
- Novel Boot Camp, Stevian Version - Runs August-October. Produce a complete outline, first draft, or edited draft of your story by the end.
- Reading Challenge - Set a goal for number of books to read in the next three months (August-October), and try to reach it.
- Deconstruction Challenge - Pick any work -- movie, book, tv show, comic, etc. -- and write 250-500 words on how the creators developed a story element of your choice.
- If you have any other writing exercises in mind, feel free to add them in. We left the workshop outline pretty loose so you can do as much or as little of it as you need.
