Anyone else watch Once Upon A Time? I just got completely caught up with Season 4. Spoilers below up to Season 4 Episode 7 'The Snow Queen'. Captain Hook's new look. Holy crap. Can I get one of those for Christmas, Santa? And I don't mean the clothes. Eeeeeeee this season is much better than the last one. Season 3 was sort of a slow mess. OUAT has its deus ex machina and weak plotting moments (like when characters figure things out via dialogue too many times), but it's crawling back to the show I love. (Haha, I love the fact that Regina actually called Hook 'Captain Guyliner.' Also Sleeping Beauty calling a CD player a 'devil box'. XD) But that flashback where David was talking about his drunken father to Anna...is it stretching it too far that fairytale shepherd not-yet-in-the-21st-century David knows the word 'bender'? Not sure I care for the sudden Elsa x Emma witch hunt parallel though. If Emma's family had feared her power, they would have shown it before! Also, why couldn't Emma do stuff like blowing up a brick wall before? ALSO. Why hasn't Elsa changed her freakin' clothes in seven episodes? We know it's her by now! Even Belle got a job and bought some clothes in a couple of episodes! Also, given how many characters have been locked away, how many secret scary cellar-dungeons does Storybroke HAVE?

Hope no one minds me bringing this thread back up, but I love this show! Issues with Season 3 aside (always wondered what the point was of splitting it in two? The second half felt rushed, and a bit off tone-wise... there's more to say about it, but I'd rather not invoke spoiler tags).
I'm way behind (didn't even realise it was back on TV, and you posted this last year)... how well does the Frozen storyline fit in with OUaT? The decision worried me a bit - using something so popular seems like a grab for more viewers - and add to that the worry over a repetition of Season 3's flaws... waiting to see how it turned out seemed like a good idea. Glad to hear the show's recovering - does it keep on being good?
(And... and that spoiler makes me wonder: if someone took a poll, how many OUaT characters would turn out to have decent, non-evil, non-absent parents?!)

I don't know -- my feelings about OUAT keep changing. On the one hand, I love that show. On the other hand, it drives me nuts, because at times it just drags on, the acting gets really cheesy, and the plot holes could house an entire family of homeless gremlins, not to mention the inconsistent characterization of late. Need a plot twist? Someone turns evil, despite all their previous behavior never having shown any indication of this!
Season 4 was better than Season 3, but it has its own moments of facepalmery. I feel like the second half of season 4 got pretty wobbly, and...well, minus spoilers, there was one character whose...er...resolution (not a spoiler actually) just made me groan. XD
About your question though, they worked the Frozen storyline in fairly well. Then again, OUAT is fairly loose with its format, so it's pretty easy to work in absolutely anything or anyone.
