Steve is an awesome site that combines monthly NaNoWriMo-style with random non-wrimo writing challenges of all kinds as well as a year-round writing/planning/doom and gloom support group, with a healthy dose of cheerful insanity and a policy of striking out particularly crazy parts of announcements because we totally didn't say that, honest... but it was funny, so why not read it anyway?
We host a series of crazy challenges through the year to help you get your WIPs from start to finish. Members are encouraged to shoot for consistency and time as well as word count, and we allow non word count based goals. Most of all though, we are a year round writers' support group. We focus on making progress by any means necessary - cattle prods, kittens, coffee, winning the internet -- however you work best, Steve is right there to offer you imaginary prizes for reaching your goals.
If you're here, you've been pointed at this forum either to take part in a NaNoWriMo-style event or to settle into the year-round group. Or possibly you met a Steve member on another forum and you were invited here to check out your friend's progress. Or you might be here by accident, in which case why not hang around a little longer and see if you like us?
Questions? Site issues? Need help? Post HERE. We'll do our best to assist you.
Siana Blackwood: looking at my wip list with the usual feeling of "I don't even know what happens in these, so how am I supposed to write a summary?"

Jᴀy V. Aꜱᴛᴇʀ 💀🐍: You don't have to. I just did mine because I happened to have bullet points I already did. Don't worry about structure or formality, it's just us

Jᴀy V. Aꜱᴛᴇʀ 💀🐍: Maybe a list of WIPs but instead of a summary it's one fun fact or one thing you really love about it? Or skip the list and post what you're listening to. Half the point of this place isn't to be strict but to just have fun and interact.
