At this point, a quick note to say that we're planning on doing the archiving/resetting stuff around January 15th. If you have suggestions for challenges, new boards, group activities etc. you have about two weeks to tell us. More info to come soon.

While Steve undergoes its yearly metamorphosis, let's chat. What did you like about your year on Steve last year, and what didn't you like? You can talk about your own stuff or about general Steve experience.

I like feeling that I had a place to report my progress, to people who understood, and wouldn't say, "You're still working on that?"
I really enjoyed my time here and can't wait to start a new year of challenges. But I did not complete the goal I had for myself last year, which was finishing my novel. That will happen this year, I know that, so bring it on! ::viking::

Dang, I can't believe I forgot about this. Glad to hear Steve helps, Monica. One thing I liked about Steve last year was that I could try just about anything I wanted without sticking to just one format, and it all counted. One thing I didn't like was when the challenges diverged from what was actually working for me, or when I started wrong but the challenge didn't let me restart. Clearly I need to make better challenges.

HOKAY. Few little things. 1) Archiving and 2016 changes are happening NOW. Now ISH. We're not moving PPTs this year because it looks like most people want to keep their own. If you really do want your thread archived though, please let one of the admins know. Otherwise, you will probably see some quantum fluctuations and weird shadows lurking around for the next few days as we tweak Steve with new boards and things. YAY!! 2) This year we're changing the focus of Steve from a challenge-oriented direction to more of a support group one, to foster collaboration, support, motivation, and inspiration. We seem to be going in that direction anyway, so why not . To that end, we're thinking of including some team building exercises. We're starting with some awesome role plays that should help us , without, like previous challenges, outright conflicting with our other work. We need participants in order to do this, though. We have a couple of different ideas being thrown around. So please head on over to the New Year thread to weigh in!0 3) As ever, if there's anything else you'd like to see here either now or later, now's your chance. There are still a few more days until the 15th!
